The CECOES 1-1-2 has reported that during the afternoon of this Friday A GES helicopter rescued a man who had respiratory distress after leaving the sea in the Montaña Amarilla area., on the coast of Granadilla.
The male, 65 years old, it was attended by SUC staff and at the initial moment of assistance, had moderate dyspnea, so that He was transferred by sanitarized ambulance from the SUC to Hospiten Sur.
The events took place around 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, when the 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government received an alert requesting health care for a person who, after being helped out of the sea, had difficulty in to breathe.
Due to the difficulty of access by the ambulance to the area where the affected person was, the GES helicopter that rescued him traveled to the area and evacuated to the Adeje Fire Department heli surface where the SUC ambulance was waiting for him.
The Canary Islands Government Emergency and Rescue Group intervened in this emergency: a rescue helicopter, Tenerife Firefighters (four rescue vehicles and a boat), the Canary Islands Emergency Service (a sanitarized ambulance), the Local Police and the Guard Civil.
