SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Four young people between 18 and 21 years old were moderately injured last morning after leaving the road and overturning their vehicle in the area of La Palmita, within the municipality of La Orotava (Tenerife), as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112.
In this sense, the La Orotava Security area has indicated that the driver has tested positive for alcohol and drugs, for which the Local Police has instructed proceedings.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) came to the site, whose staff assisted those affected, including an 18-year-old man with a trauma to the face and moderate alcohol intoxication; and another male of the same age with neck pain and moderate alcohol intoxication.
In addition, another 18-year-old boy had an upper limb trauma and moderate alcohol intoxication, and a 21-year-old four suffered eyelid lesions and moderate alcohol intoxication. All four were taken by ambulances to Hospiten Bellevue.
For their part, firefighters from the Consortium secured the vehicle and the Local Police instructed the corresponding procedures and regulated traffic in the area.
