Canarias scores a new decline and closes the week with 287 new cases of Covid

The new cases of coronavirus continue to decline in Canary Islands, according to the data published by the Ministry of Health this Sunday. In the last 24 hours the Archipelago has registered 287 new infections by Covid-19. The number of new positives represents 191 fewer cases than a week ago, when 478 infections were recorded last Sunday. With today’s data, the Islands have already accumulated fifteen days of decreases in the number of people infected by the pathogen.

The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 88,214 with 15,812 assets, of which 106 are admitted (+6) to the ICU and 396 (-14) remain hospitalized.

In addition, in the last hours there has been the death of two people in the Canary Islands: an 82-year-old man in Tenerife and an 86-year-old woman in Fuerteventura. Both had previous pathologies and remained in hospital.

By islands, Tenerife Today there are 129 cases with a total of 42,510 accumulated cases and 9,018 epidemiologically active.

Gran canaria has 33,637 accumulated, 103 more, and 6,054 assets, while Lanzarote adds 27 positives, with 6,388 accumulated and 210 assets.

Fuerteventura It has 3,832 accumulated cases, with 19 more than the previous day, and 475 active. The Palm adds seven new cases, so it has 1,029 accumulated and 40 active.

The iron does not add any cases, so it remains at 432 accumulated and four assets and La Gomera incorporates two new cases, so its accumulated are 382 and its assets are nine.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands It stands at 132.17 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in the 341.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To date, 1,931,518 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,207 correspond to yesterday.
