Despite the recommendations by the Cabildo de Tenerife, ignored by many people from Tenerife, a kilometer-long queue originated in the access to the Teide National Park, specifically on the TF-24 road through La Esperanza.
The reason was none other than the sighting of the famous Perseids, whose maximum period of activity was foreseen for this past dawn.
In fact, the island corporation, through the Natural Environment and Security Management area, reported yesterday of the closure of the road from 10 pm as the park’s vehicle loading capacity had been exceeded, as was foreseeable, on the occasion of the popular sighting of the also known San Lorenzo tears.
