The El Rosario City Council opened yesterday until Monday, August 30, the deadline for submitting applications to qualify for the 2020 Island Housing Rehabilitation Program. The total investment amounts to 35,251 euros, co-financed by the Tenerife Council and the El Rosario City Council . Applications can be downloaded from the municipal electronic headquarters or requested at the General Registry of the City Council, in La Esperanza, or at the Mayor’s Office, in Llano Blanco.
This line of subsidies will be distributed among those owners who do not have sufficient financial resources and whose homes are not in minimum habitability conditions. Works to be financed by this program will be, among others, those that include totally or partially the improvement of accessibility conditions, those that guarantee the safety of the home, such as the reinforcement or partial replacement of the structural elements and those that allow adaptation to current regulations on water, gas, electricity, fire protection … The Rosario councilor of the Social Action area, Fátima Gutiérrez, explains, through a press release, that «this program of aid for rehabilitation of housing allows those families with limited resources to cope with works that improve their quality of life by solving important deficiencies in their homes, both in the facilities and in their adaptation for people with reduced mobility ”.
