Agents of the Mobile Brigade (BRIMO) of the General Corps of the Canarian Police have arrested a man, aged 38, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of attempted illegal detention after he allegedly tried to introduce a girl under 15 years of age in a vehicle by force in La Laguna (Tenerife).
The arrest occurred after on Saturday, August 7, Canarian Police officers who were carrying out citizen security functions in La Laguna were summoned by a minor, accompanied by her father, who told them how a middle-aged man had her He tried to enter a car by force up to three times, as reported by the regional government in a press release.
In addition, the minor provided the vehicle’s registration data to the agents, who managed to locate and arrest the alleged perpetrator for the crime of attempted illegal detention.
Finally, after being identified by the minor, the alleged perpetrator was handed over, together with the open proceedings, to the National Police Corps and was detained pending the ruling of the judicial authority.
