Granadilla de Abona rescues Sansofé, the so-called Southern cultural program organized by the Department of Culture. It offers some thirty online and face-to-face activities, with capacity control, until the 29th. It began on Friday with the children’s show by the Delirium Teatro company and the staging of the play Pinche y Pancho, cocineros’, with the collaboration of Seas.
In the program are musical events such as the IV Festival of New Talents (online), the streaming concerts of the Trópin and Sensacion Gomera orchestras and the Alma de bolero trio, the latter in person. To commemorate the Folkloric Exhibition of the Peoples, there is a folk dance course, the photographic exhibition Memoria and the musical show by Benito Cabrera, together with Tomás Fariña and Candelaria Rodríguez, in El Médano. There will also be a summer cinema, in the auditorium of the San Isidro Espacio Cívico, with capacity control.
José Domingo Regalado explains that Sansofé rreturns after the required parenthesis for him Covid-19 and that maintains the free character. In addition, it asks the local and visiting population to join this summer and traditional initiative “awareness and responsibility in compliance with health security measures.”
