The Governing Council of the Urban Planning Management of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has approved to grant a conditional extension of one year to the Isla de Mar leisure terrace so that it can continue to occupy the municipal plot of Cabo Llanos.
This decision comes after agreeing on a payment plan, which has the approval of the Tax Consortium.
In a statement, councilor Carlos Tarife explains that the renewal of the concession is conditional on the establishment of a mortgage charge in favor of the Urban Planning Management of a property that the promoters have presented as collateral in the next thirty days.
Tarife adds that since the lot that this terrace occupies will only be able to be active during the next year, the Santa Cruz City Council will meet with the Port Authority to see if, from now on, new nightlife areas can be taken out in the city .
