The National Police intervened at 01:00 this Thursday in the total eviction of an illegal party that was held in a garage in the La Salle neighborhood of the Tenerife capital.
The agents received several citizen alerts that indicated that a party was being held in a building in the aforementioned neighborhood, attended by more than 20 people, between adults and minors.
The national police, once in the place, verified that it was a garage and that the information was reliable, according to the music and the voices that came from inside.
When the garage door was opened, the agents observed a large group of people, some of them minors, who did not wear a mask or respect interpersonal distances. Likewise, with the naked eye they could observe alcoholic beverages in the place.
Once identified, there were 21 party-goers, 10 of them minors. The agents proposed for sanction by the COVID-19 regulation to all the assistants and the owner of the garage.
In addition, they handed over all the minors to their relatives and they were warned of the reason for the police intervention, proceeding to evict the party without causing other serious incidents.
It was in this process of handing over the minors when the guardian of one of them spontaneously informed the agents that among the attendees there could be people positive for COVID-19.
The facts that motivated the action of the National Police have been made known to the competent judicial and administrative authorities.
The actions have been carried out by national police officers from the Citizen Security Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
